The Selby and District Bowling Association is open to all bonafide amateur bowling clubs within a fifteen mile radius of Selby.
The Association conforms to the rules and regulations of the English Bowling Association.
The objectives of the Association are:
1) To promote, foster and safeguard the amateur level green game of bowls.
2) To arrange inter club and other matches and competitions.
3) To interpret, when called upon, difficult and doubtful questions of law and practice and to arbitrate in all differences referred to the Association between and among affiliated clubs.

In accordance with guidance received from Bowls England on 13/8/09 - No player should leave the rink of play or their team unless their opponent agrees. If a player or team breaks this law they will forfeit the match to their opponent.
